Queen of Something . . .
I have an obsession with playing cards….I think it comes from my grandmother….and the queens are my favorite…..I did a playing card series years ago and this was re-inspired by a gift from a dear friend!!!!! This is #3 and it is sold…..will be showing the others next….8×8 mixed media

A “Little Christmas Art” . . .
Christmas trees….I have always had a passion for Christmas trees…..I also love little art!!!!! For the past 25 years it has been “PAINT BIG”…..I have had more fun painting small this year and beyond just Christmas trees…this is the remaining inventory of the trees…..thankful to share the Christmas spirit with art!!!!!!

I am currently taking an online workshop with Ardith Goodwin….this is the project …..notes – 
Timed 4 min then the two minute …..very flowing…not my colors usually but what if? And I tend to be geometric and this is all curvilinear …. and I like the line….I decided that is one of my favorite things about winter is nature is more linear…to me anyway…..let’s go…..
Distortion
The journey….I am a process painter….I love the process…the journey….in 2018 I studied with some amazing artists that have put sooooo much of the pizazz and excitement back in my heART……
This is from working with Ardith Goodwin – Distortion…….it was beyond just reshaping a figure….it was about expressing emotion with line shape etc….I have loved every minute and enjoying the journey …. these works in the “distortion group” will be at upcoming shows…..

Switching gear from my normal bold color to just b&w…….this has been a great year in the studio with lots of freedom to explore “what if?”….. I have a definite love of coffee shops and coffee cups/mugs…..I am exploring ways to create art with different mediums and love pen work!!!!!!

This is from an online workshop I am taking…..the inspired page – a book of inspiration and intention!!!! Kind of a visual journal……It’s taken me a bit to get started…but here we go….I decided that there are no rules and this most likely will become a work in progress…one thing I want to add is my fruit sticker page….I want to share with you that for the past 30? years all of my sketchbooks have a “fruit sticker” collection….why not??? I love this process and more with it now….

Friday Night Fruit Arranging…..
Over the past few years I have been spending more time in the kitchen….it is actually where I began painting almost 30 years ago….so….here is to nonsense and creativity in the kitchen.
